What makes you different from other Agencies?

Our tagline states it all….large marketing for small business.  We pride ourselves in developing campaign plans for the small business.  For business owners and operators who juggle multiple hats within an organization, and cannot focus the time necessary to the marketing efforts.  We believe customer service is a dying trend in American business, and work to ensure our customer’s satisfaction.  We don’t push our clients to buy particular media because it’s in our best interest…we work with our client’s budget to put them in the places that are in the best interest of their business, and strive for opportunities to create the strongest return on investment possible.

I have someone who buys my advertising. Why do I need you?

Having someone available internally to buy your advertising is great.  What Music Valley Group can do is save you money.  Because of our experience and knowledge, we can speak in the media vendor’s language…opening up the floor for negotiation.  In addition, as we have a variety of clients, we can bring  buying power to the negotiation floor, and save our clients dollars on the advertising and marketing expenditures they are making.  We are typically able to save our clients 15-20%, without costing them anything additional out of their pockets.  The media vendors we negotiate with and buy from pay our commission.  It allows a business owner to have a full-time marketing department, without the overhead.

Do you have references?

Music Valley Group has references available at a customer’s request, and can put you in contact with some of our clients for a one-on-one conversation to answer questions and let you know more about working with us.

Do you do marketing plans?

We do!  Music Valley Group works with clients, beginning with an audit/consultation to determine target markets, geographic markets, previous spending, and many other factors, before putting together a marketing plan or campaign, individualized for each customer we work with.  Unlike our competitors, who regurgitate ideas that have worked in similar business categories, Music Valley Group takes the time and energy to develop a program customized for each of our clients to attack the goals and objective they wish to accomplish.

I don’t have a current marketing budget. Can you help me determine what is appropriate?

Yes, Music Valley Group will work with our clients to determine a sustainable budget to invest into their advertising and marketing efforts.  We then work to develop campaign goals that can be successfully supported by that budget, and track all expenditures from there.

Will you work with existing marketing employee?

Yes.  Music Valley Group will work with existing marketing staff members, while working with business owners and operators.  You are the people dealing with the day in and day out responsibilities of the business, and we need to all work together to accomplish the major goal of driving brand awareness and creating more sales opportunities.

Can you help with sales as well as marketing?

Yes.  Music Valley Group cannot obviously be your salespeople, but what we can do is work hand in hand with our clients to develop awareness and traffic, leading to more sales opportunities for the business.  As we know, sales is a law of numbers…the more potential buyers available, the more closing opportunities that come available, and therefore leading to more sales, and higher profits.  We also strive to create brand awareness, to make your business known before a consumer needs your product or service, allowing you to work to become a shop not forced to be competitive on price, but competitive on service features, maintenance, etc.

Do you do marketing through Social Media tools?

We do!  Music Valley Group is proud to be at the forefront of digital marketing and the social media insurgence…and we work together to customize programs that work well for all parties involved.  We can handle your social media pages, or set-up systems to allow you to handle the messaging efforts.

How often do we meet?

That will depend on the demands of the campaign itself.  We have clients we meet with once a month, some once a week…and some we talk to every day!  After developing our campaign, we’ll work with the individual business to determine a meeting schedule that work for all parties involved.

Will you work in my office?

Music Valley Group team members will become a regular in your offices, getting to know all members of your staff from all levels.  We will primarily work from our offices, as to not interfere with your day to day operations.

How often do we pay you?

Our payment policies are net 30 days from invoice date.  We collect all invoices from respective media vendors we are working with, and generate one invoice for our client…another time saving measure for your company’s accounts payable department.  We then disperse payments back to those media vendors.

What industries do you work in?

We work with a variety of industries and customers…as you can see above in the listing of some of our clients.  That’s why we pride ourselves in creating customized campaigns for each of our individual clients.  A guarantee we make, unlike most of our competitors, is that if we begin to work with a client in a particular industry, we will not actively seek new customers in the same business category.  It allows us to focus our efforts for each individual client that we represent.

Will I be under a contract?

Unlike most of our competitors (who require a two-year commitment) we do not force our clients into long-term contracts.  We do have documentation that both parties will agree to certain terms…including a written 30-day notice of cancellation of services from either party.

Where are you located?

Music Valley Group is located in Nashville, Tennessee and we work with businesses and clients primarily across the Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky regions.

Will my company information be secure?

Absolutely, positively YES!  Each business has tons of sensitive information, and that is all kept confidential between our clients and our staff here at Music Valley Group.  To create a successful campaign idea for our clients, we need to be privy to certain information the public should not and will not be aware of.  We need our clients and customers to maintain open lines of communication with our staff, and pride ourselves in keeping your campaign planning, negotiation efforts, etc. private and confidential.

What will I need to do to prepare for a Marketing Agency?

Music Valley Group offers a variety of services for our customers.  Please visit Our Services to see a listing of services that we provide.  If you have a need that is not listed, we ask that you please talk to us about it…many times, it may not be a service that we offer, but have contracted vendors that we work with that would be perfect to fill that need.

Can I mix and match your services with other service providers?

You can.  Music Valley Group is available to be an extension to your business.  We are not here to tell you how to run the organization, or how to do your job.  You are the expert in your business category…we simply strive to be the expert in ours.  If you have vendors that are handling needs for you that are working properly, we do not want to disrupt those relationships.  That’s why it’s vital for us to maintain open lines of communication and know which parties are handling which responsibilities, so the ball never gets dropped!
